Andrew Hancock, DSW, MSW, LCSW
Dr. Hancock received his Doctoral Degree in Social Work from Tulane University in 2019, Master’s Degree in Social Work from Tulane University in 2013, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2008. Dr. Hancock has a certificate in global social work from Tulane University and has post-graduate training in Sex & Relationship Therapy from the Buehler Institute. Dr. Hancock has worked in the field of aviation working with flight crews as a member of the critical incident response team, serving abroad having worked with Tibetan Refugees in India, providing clinical support in primary care medical settings, HIV nonprofits, with individuals in chronic pain, and the transgender community. Dr. Hancock was a flight attendant who traveled the globe before becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Dr. Hancock views his psychotherapy approach as a joint effort between the client and himself. Dr. Hancock holds a non-judgmental safe space empowering each client to fully emerge as the expert of themselves, Dr. Hancock then brings his training and clinical wisdom to the therapeutic setting in which the therapeutic relationship is established to foster intense personal work, human growth and transformation.
